We offer the following services to keep your pet healthy:

Health Certificates
If you are planning to travel internationally with your pet…you need to plan ahead! Since each country is different, you will need to determine the requirements for entry into that country. As an USDA-accredited veterinarian, I can issue a health certificate following the examination of your pet. Ease your stress and don’t wait until the last minute to obtain this documentation.

Preventative Care
The best way to promote overall health is through preventative care and regular exams. Often health problems that go undetected can become more severe when left untreated. So, checkups are important even when your pet looks healthy. Monthly Heartworm Prevention is essential especially here in our warm climate.

Dental Care / Surgery
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Does your dog’s breath almost make you faint? Is Fido pawing at his face more? Have you found a small dermal growth on the skin? Or a suspicious skin lump?
We offer routine Dental cleanings and simple mass removals at our partner full-service Vet Hospital. All surgical procedures require an initial exam and consultation.

Spay and Neuter
As responsible pet owners, we want the best for our furry friends. Spaying or neutering your pet provides a lifetime of benefits, protecting them from certain health problems and even extending their lifespan. Not only does spaying and neutering have positive effects on your pets’ health, it’s also vital to controlling the homeless pet population.
We offer routine spay and neuter surgeries at our partner full-service Vet Hospital. All surgical procedures require an initial exam and consultation.

Microchipping
Losing a pet can be a stressful experience and a microchip is the best way to ensure your pet is returned when lost! The microchip, which is about the size of grain of rice, is injected between your pet’s shoulder blades and is encoded with unique information on a tiny bar code. It’s a lifetime protection that is inexpensive, quick and virtually painless for pets.

Vaccinations
Vaccinations are a vital part of your pet’s preventative care routine and can protect them from highly contagious and deadly diseases. Vaccinations help trigger a protective immune response and to lessen/prevent common diseases. Your veterinarian is an important source regarding your pet’s specific vaccination needs. Not sure which vaccines your pet requires……ask your VET!
Remember Rabies Vaccination is required by law by four (4) months of age!

Wellness Exams
An annual comprehensive physical exam is a detailed nose-to-tail assessment of your pet’s health. Many health problems are still manageable and treatable when diagnosed early. Our annual exam gives us the opportunity to mitigate potential health issues before they become major problems. It’s the foundation for a long and healthy life for your pet!
Minor lacerations, ear/skin infections, eye stains, Allergy injections, Parvo Testing, Blood panels and more can be addressed on a Wellness visit.

Parasite Prevention
The idea of your pet being infested with external and/or internal parasites is a disturbing thought and it’s also a medical issue! These parasites pose a variety of health issues for us and your pet. By being proactive with Annual Wellness Exams, Heartworm testing, Fecal testing……we can catch fleas, ticks, heartworms, and other conditions before they progress.
We offer Heartgard Plus or the convenience of the ProHeart 6/12 Injections for Heartworm Preventative. And the Bravecto oral flea/tick pill.

In-Home Euthanasia
It’s never easy saying goodbye to our beloved pet. And even more stressful having to transport them to the vet office. Deciding when your pet may need euthanasia is a very personal and private decision, but that doesn’t mean you have to make this difficult choice on your own. Before you struggle with an elderly or terminally ill pet that is suffering, we offer quality of life Exams. Our compassionate In-Home Euthanasia services ensures their comfort and dignity during their final moments. Care of your pets remains can be by a home burial or we transport to Deceased Pet Care or the Crematory of your choice.

Puppy and Kitten Care
Getting a new puppy or kitten is very exciting! People often forget that these “furbabies” are totally dependent on their humans and come with a ton of responsibility.
Always have your new puppy or kitten receive a full nose-to-tail examination by a veterinarian! Yes, some breeders give them “shots,” or you can even go to the feed store and buy some. But this never replaces an Exam by your trusted veterinary professional!

Geriatric Care
As our pets age annual exams and blood work becomes a critical aspect of their care. Core Geriatric Blood panels include a CBC, Chemistry, Thyroid levels and a Urinalysis. Samples are sent to a diagnostic lab and results are received within 24 hours. These profiles provide valuable information about general internal health and can alert us to any early changes or disease processes. This allows us to structure a plan for a continued long and healthy life.
